Appointed as lead architect and masterplanner, BPTW is collaborating with Poplar HARCA, Hill and residents to bring forward a transformative scheme at the Teviot Estate, one that will be an exemplar of placemaking and sustainable regeneration in London.
A community-led development, our work will deliver circa 1,750 high quality homes and will have a positive social and economic impact for the area over the long term. Alongside modern, safe, energy efficient homes that will be wonderful to live in, our work will create and shape the neighbourhood residents want, with beautiful safe parks and play spaces, encouraging healthy living and better connections across Teviot and the surrounding area. Shops and community and faith facilities also form an integral part of the proposals as well as significant investment in infrastructure. In addition, our team is delivering a detailed package of social value which is tailored to the specific needs of the community.
The proposal for the development is being designed in collaboration with Delvendahl Martin, a Tower Hamlets-based practice who are bringing their local knowledge and experience in mixed-use, workspace and meanwhile use projects to the scheme.
