31 new extra care one and two bed flats have been created to replace a previous nursing home that was no longer compliant with current care standards. Additional community and management facilities are also provided, including meeting rooms, a dining room and a small community synagogue.

With a careful consideration of residents’ needs, the scheme has been designed with the Housing LIN guidance and taking on board the aspirations of HAPPI and HAPPI 2. BPTW worked  closely with both the property team and care staff from Jewish Care to ensure that the building was designed to support its residents’ care needs.
