Watts Grove, our 100% affordable scheme for Tower Hamlets council is one of 3 BPTW projects featured in the NLA’s ‘Public Housing: A London Renaissance’ research paper and exhibition. We are proud to see this scheme recognised as a leading example of public housing within London.
The paper explores the resurgence taking place in the provision of new public housing in London and showcases best practice from estate regeneration and small infill sites to masterplans, focusing on key case studies from across London that are exemplars of design quality, innovation in delivery and community engagement, making a positive contribution to housing delivery.
Watts Grove is a contemporary development that has delivered 148 fully affordable homes including family houses and apartments for local residents. The scheme forms an architectural response to the historic fabric of the area and offers a mix of housing typologies to address the requirements of a diverse community.
