Our Detailed Planning Application for a New Local Centre and 120 homes in North Cambridge receives resolution to grant planning.
Appointed by Cambridge Investment Partnership, a joint venture between Cambridge City Council and Hill Group, BPTW is creating a new heart at the centre of the East Barnwell community, reviving and consolidating community functions on two sites. The development will provide 120 modern, sustainable, affordable homes alongside a community centre, library, preschool, commercial spaces and a new public green. As part of the development, BPTW also designed a new bowls club pavilion to replace the existing.
BPTW Partner and project lead, Neill Campbell, commented, “Our design for East Barnwell creates a sustainable, resilient neighbourhood.
