We are proud to announce that Hartopp and Lannoy Point, our landmark Passivhaus regeneration scheme in Fulham, has been shortlisted for both the Climate Crisis Initiative and Social Impact Initiative categories for Property Week’s RESI Awards, as well as the Development category in the RICS London Awards.
Designed for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham, the scheme provides 134 new homes across three apartment buildings, 84% of which will be affordable, with anew communal open space at its heart. The energy-efficient scheme is designed to Passivhaus Classic standards with a Zero Carbon ethos that reduces carbon by 86% and drives down heat loss and energy use, helping residents save on their bills.
The scheme secured unanimous approval for planning permission in 2022 following close collaboration between BPTW and the current estate residents, local community, local Council and the Disability Forum. BPTW is now delivering the technical design of the scheme for Higgins Partnerships.
Thank you to project managers AtkinsRealis, who led the project award submissions. Following the project’s win at the Inside Housing Development Awards last year for the Best Affordable Housing Development (>£20mill), these recent award shortlists reinforce project’s sustainability credentials and the benefits it will deliver to the local community.
