BPTW has been shortlisted in two categories at the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) Awards for Planning Excellence (2020).
Our planning team is a finalist in the ‘Planning Consultancy of the Year’ category, and our work as planners on the regeneration of Rochester Riverside for clients Countryside and Hyde has also been recognised in the ‘Excellence in Planning to Deliver Homes – Large Schemes’ category.
The RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence are the most established and respected awards in the UK planning industry. Running for over 40 years, they celebrate exceptional examples of planning and the contribution planners make to society.
Gerry Cassidy, BPTW’s planning Partner said:
“We’re delighted to have been recognised in the Planning Consultancy of the Year category. This is a strong endorsement for the professional capability of our planning consultancy team which continues to grow from strength to strength. We are increasingly working on a diverse range of projects and with clients who value the work we do, and are thrilled that our work on the Rochester Riverside regeneration has also been recognised.”
RTPI President Sue Manns FRTPI said:
“Many congratulations to all the finalists at this year’s RTPI Awards for Planning Excellence, representing the very best of our profession from not only all the RTPI’s regions and nations but also from countries around the globe. These outstanding projects, teams and individuals show how planning can have a positive effect on our communities and the environment and how planners can use their expertise and enthusiasm to create inclusive, happy and healthy places and spaces for ourselves and for future generations.”
The winners will be announced during a ceremony in central London on 30 April 2020.
