We are really proud to start the week by announcing that BPTW has been awarded the ‘Architectural Employer of the Year’ award at Building Design’s Architect of the Year Awards 2021.
The award is a testament to the consistent hard work of our talented teams throughout the past year as well as our constant drive to make BPTW an inclusive and outstanding place to work. The award recognised our achievements around Equality, Diversity and Inclusion, reflected in creating a 50:50 gender split and our ongoing efforts to increase diversity across the practice. Having supported numerous newly qualified architects and other staff through their qualifications and promoted many members of staff into senior management positions over the last year, the award also acknowledged our focus on staff training and development. Additionally, the award recognised the emphasis the practice has placed on generating a good work-life balance, particularly following a sustained period of working from home during the pandemic, and our drive to enhance staff wellbeing, achieved through flexible working arrangements, listening to staff feedback and our initiatives to increase and encourage social interaction.
Having grown the practice to over 130 people over the last year, we are delighted to have won this award – a fantastic achievement which recognises the importance BPTW place on staff welfare, which was supported by testimonials from individuals across the practice. We would like to thank all of our staff for their incredible work.
