We are pleased to announce that Chapelgate, BPTW’s scheme of 105 high quality new homes in Basildon, secured planning approval last week.
Designed for Sempra Homes and Basildon Council, Chapelgate will provide mixed tenure homes a 5 minute walk from Basildon Town Centre. The scheme will regenerate a disused carpark to provide 70 apartments across 2 buildings, and 35 detached, semi-detached and townhouses in a setting that maximises and enhances the existing landscaping, biodiversity and ecological features of the surrounding area.
Providing residents with low energy solutions, sustainability features at the core of the design include green roofs, air source heat pumps and PV panels, as well as vehicle charging points and cycle stores to promote sustainable travel.
This is the third recent planning permission BPTW has secured for Sempra Homes and Basildon council, following the approval of 2 sites at Pound Lane and Broadmayne earlier this year. We look forward to seeing the site evolve when construction commences in the near future.
