Our recently completed scheme, Valegro, consisting of 63 apartments and groundfloor commercial space in Greenwich is looking great in these new photographs of the development.
BPTW designed the pre-planning stages of Valegro for client Purelake Investments. The scheme has delivered a mix of affordable rent, shared ownership and private sale homes across 1 – 3 bedroom apartments. The building responds to the scale and setting of its surroundings at the junction of Norman Road and Greenwich High Road through its chamfered corner design and brick detailing which reflects architectural styles in historic Greenwich. Valegro’s prominent archways are inspired by the beautiful arched windows of the adjacent Listed Pumping Station.
Valegro knits seamlessly with the local context and, having previously been the site of BPTW’s temporary studios before we moved to our current building on the same road, we are pleased to see this striking transformation.
