BPTW is excited to be a member of the Passivhaus Trust!
Our membership recognises our continued emphasis on designing to address the climate crisis. Championed by BPTW’s Sustainability Group, this step is part of a considered sustainability development programme that has supported many BPTW staff to become Certified Passive House Designers, established a training and development programme, and enabled BPTW’s thought leadership presentations to industry bodies on affordable housing and sustainable design. As members, we have access to a network of leading Passivhaus practitioners, technical workshops, training and events and the latest research and publications on sustainable design, expanding our expertise and capacity to design Passivhaus homes. Alongside our membership with the Passivhaus Trust, BPTW is also a member of the International Passive House Association (iPHA).
BPTW is developing an extensive portfolio of Passivhaus and low-carbon projects in London, south and central England for a diverse range of clients, including councils, housing associations and developers. Recent project successes include 134 Passivhaus Classic homes for LB Hammersmith and Fulham at Hartopp and Lannoy Points, 212 sustainable homes as part of the Richmond College Masterplan for Clarion, including some of the first ‘Net Zero Compatible’ homes in Richmond, and 70 Passivhaus Classic apartments at Aylesborough Close in Cambridge for the Cambridge Investment Partnership.
The Passivhaus Trust is an independent, non-profit organisation in the UK that advocates for Passivhaus standards and methodology as a highly effective way of tackling the climate emergency with quality, energy-efficient, and comfortable homes.
