As part of a package of social value we are delivering on the Teviot Estate in Tower Hamlets, BPTW recently provided a financial donation to enable the Teviot Centre to be decorated. A vital community asset at the heart of the Estate, the Teviot Centre offers a range of recreational, fitness, training and advice services for all ages within the community which the redecoration will help to ensure continue.
Our Social Value Lead and HR Director Louise Conder recently visited the Centre to see the improvements and was shown round by Mo Elmessiah, a member of the marketing team at the Centre (pictured).
Syed, Head of Charity at the Teviot Centre, commented: “The centre looks great, we’re really happy with the outcome. Thank you so much to BPTW for funding the redecorations!”
Our team are working with Poplar HARCA, Hill and residents to design circa 1,750 homes as well as a number of high quality, shops and community facilities at the Teviot Estate, a regeneration scheme on which we are appointed as masterplanner. As part of this scheme, we are also delivering a detailed package of social value which is tailored to the specific needs of the community.
