We’re pleased to hear that Keats House, our scheme for LB Tower Hamlets, has received planning approval. Situated along Roman Road and a 5-minute walk from Bethnal Green Underground station, the former car park site had been earmarked by the borough to provide 100% affordable housing.
The site presented a number of challenges including access, height and proximity to the Globe monument and historic fire station. Following detailed discussions with council officers, the final scheme proposes 11 one, two, and three bed apartments in this prominent location.
The project was run through a management contract which saw BPTW appoint and coordinate consultants on behalf of the borough.
