Camberwell Fields creates a sustainable neighbourhood of exemplar design quality with new homes for shared ownership and outright sale as well as rental properties. The homes have been developed using a mix of building types and variety of heights, roof forms, materials and textures to create a diverse street scene built around defined character areas.
Part of the former Elmington Estate, the development reconnects the neighbourhood with urban blocks that carefully respond to the scale and materials of the surrounding context and create new pedestrian routes linked with the surrounding area.
As lead architect for Camberwell Fields, BPTW oversaw the project from pre-planning design to completion and handover.
